Handblended spice mix for mulled wine or cider, makes up to 1 litre. Reusable handmade muslin bag included.
Instructions: Place the red wine or cider with spice bag in to a large saucepan and add 3 tbsp of brown sugar or honey (or to taste). Cut 1 fresh orange in half and squeeze the juice into the wine and then cut the rest into half circles. Heat to just below boiling point and hold this temperature for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve warm in a mug with an orange slice as garnish. Our 100% cotton spice bag can be reused - great for loose teas too.
For a warming non-alcoholic alternative, add contents to 1 litre of cranberry juice, heat as above then remove the sachets and serve garnished with orange slices. Also delicious with alcohol-free wine.
